Gita Bayu is an award winning premier residential development located in the south fringes of Kuala Lumpur that prides itself on community-centered living in a natural tropical space, akin to a ‘Kampung’ or verdant village. Planned as a low-density development, Gita Bayu is home to bungalows, townhouses, bungalow garden villas and villa condominiums. Pentago’s involvement in this development began in its early stages in the master planning and landscape. The master planning was put together with Pentago style design at its core, in the premise of “Why don’t we keep the landscape intact?”.

Pentago style buildings are superimposed into the existing landscape and the roads in the streetscape follow the natural contours of the site, which worked wonders for the drainage and proved economical for the earthworks. Similarly, the landscape became a macro scale projection of Pentago’s virtues. The two hills were kept intact and the valley between them turned into a recreational lake that doubled as a retention basin designed for protection even from a hundred year storm. The design of the lake, deep in the middle and shallow from the sides, allowed for maximum water catchment and safe everyday use for the residents. Marine animals are abundant and give life to the community water bodies which are enjoyed daily by the residents.
