Pentago provided the landscape design for Dai Phuoc Lotus along with the initial display villas and clubhouse that won an Honour Award at the ILAM Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards 2012 – Professional Category. The approach was two fold – to create a timeless, modern tropical landscape accessible to people of all ages and to portray quintessential Vietnamese culture using modern Vietnamese design and motifs to create an identity for the development.
In an effort to showcase the themeing of the estate and market it effectively, the view line from the entry was directed towards the show units instead of the adjacent undeveloped land.
The softscape was defined through the careful selection of local plants and signature trees. Water bodies, pavilions, open decks and open lawns are scattered strategically throughout.
