Pentago were employed as the architects and landscape architects on this 70 key urban resort hotel in the tourist centre of Goa. The site was occupied by several 1950 apartment blocks which had to be incorporated into the overall master plan and design along adding a further complication to what was already a challenging project. The hotel was designed in the spirit of fun, leisure and hedonistic relaxation, with the target client group being young party and beach goers. The rooms were purposely kept small to encourage the guests to congregate in the 3 bars and restaurants as well as the resort swimming pool and external facilities. It was basically designed as ‘party central’.
