Located off the coast of Kata Noi, Phuket, the Impiana Private Villas are an extension of an existing line of hotels by the Impiana Hotel Group. Pentago was comissioned to design eight luxury villas that were both for the owner’s private use and for the exclusive use of the hotel’s VIP guests.
The villas were built on the existing solid rock of the coast to maximize the scenic view and privacy. Up to two-thirds of the existing landscape was utilised to hide the building inside the hill-face. In using natural materials such as rock and stone, the villas blended into the coast and became very much part of of the scenery.
Each suite was placed on the hillside with its own pool and private view of the ocean, retaining an air of exclusivity despite the compact site.
